Baker Mckenzie - Information Governance

An exploratory service design project to identify challenges clients face meeting GDPR requirements. Global interviews and design thinking led to funded proof-of-concepts.

Information Governance

Executive Summary

Our clients were facing difficulties managing their internal information governance (IG) policies and ensuring that it meets local and global regulatory standards. A diverse team of IG practitioners was assembled to work with the service design team during the project duration. The team used design thinking techniques to learn about client’s pain points and generate ideas.

Over the project duration, I worked with another service designer to conduct interviews globally, identify and prioritize these challenges. At the end of project, we created 4 proof-of-concepts that dealt with these challenges.

Note: This project is a service design project, and unlike a digital product, there are no wireframes. By design, this project is exploratory.
